PLOT:
In 1916, Morpheus, the king of dreams and one of the seven Endless, is captured in an occult ritual. After being held captive for 105 years, he escapes and sets out to restore order to his kingdom of the Dreaming.
WHY IT'S TRIGGERING:
EPISODE 11
The first half is depicted through the eyes of cats who all convene in a graveyard late at night to listen to the testimony of a Siamese cat (Sandra Oh) who witnessed her kittens brutally murdered by her human owners, thus forever ending her faith in humanity and leading her on a quest for justice for cats.
Even if this part of the episode is animated, the murder of the kittens is horrifying to watch.
The second half is about Calliope, the Greek goddess, held captive by author Erasmus Fry, then by Richard Madoc.
In the original story, Calliope is r4ped when she refuses to inspire the British writer..
The SA is not luckily shown, so it's easy to manage.
POSITIVE NOTE:
These are new elements that we will see in season 2 and we should expect an intense plot moving forward. The entire cast is phenomenal.
