PLOT

An English combat nurse from 1945 is mysteriously swept back in time to 1743. Follows the story of Claire Randall, a married combat nurse from 1945 who is mysteriously swept back in time to 1743, where she is immediately thrown into an unknown world in which her life is threatened.

WHY IT'S TRIGGERING

SA, violence, on both men and women.

Every episode contains very sort of violence. I tried to make a list but literally every episode has something triggering. From episode one Claire almost gets SA by Randall, he will succeed later on not many episodes later.

POSITIVE NOTE:

Tobias Menzies is such a brilliant actor, he both plays Frank and Randall, Frank is Claire's husband in 1945, before she disappears. Frank is such a caring husband, he is not perfect, but overall a great person. Randall is Frank's ancestor in 1743, he meets Claire and he is the most disgusting person to exist, violent, toxic, completely out of his mind, definitely historically accurate for the time being. Menzies acting skills are hard not to notice.
