PLOT:

As a teenager at the prestigious Bradley School, Ani FaNelli endured a shocking, public humiliation that left her desperate to reinvent herself. Now, with a glamorous job, expensive wardrobe, and handsome blue blood fiancé, she's this close to living the perfect life she's worked so hard to achieve.

JESSICA KNOLL:

The movie is based on Jessica Knoll's book Luckiest Girl Alive, her story inspired her book and especially the gang r4pe really happened to her. It's pretty clear from the script, the quotes in the movie and many situations represented in the movie, that the author is very much involved emotionally with what's being represented. The school shooting and bombing are added for plot, so are not based on real events. I saw that as a fantasy of her to get revenge on these people that hurt her so much.

WHY IT'S TRIGGERING:

SA scenes in flashbacks and all the consequences of being a victim of SA, having or not the guts to talk and about it.

POSITIVE NOTE:

Interesting story, leaves you breathless until the end and helps people understand how it feels to be an SA victim and how people deal with the trauma, even decades after the event. Luckly, it's on Netflix and you can skip all the disturbing scenes. The end is a breath of fresh hair as it gives hope for healing and rebirth, a new life.

An addition of great inspiring quotes.
